My Isles Wagon Rolls Right Through MSG Tonight

ALL ABOARD! About to ford the river right into Manhattan, roll right into the Rags’ home, and go hunting. Just murder everyone on the Rangers, take 200 pounds with us back to our wagon, and keep the journey to the Cup rolling.

Should be an electric night in the Garden. Rangers fans acting tough will try to tell you this game doesnt mean anything. They’ll try to say shit like “act like you’ve been there before” and attempt to belittle Isles fans as if tonight’s game shouldn’t be a big deal. I fucking hate that high horse shtick. When one fan base tries to act superior to another by acting disinterested. Get the fuck out of my face with that garbage. If you’re a Rangers fan and you’re not amped up about hosting a showdown with your Long Island rival who’s sitting atop the division – all because  you’re trying to play it cool and act like the Isles arent on your radar – then you’re a loser fan. Saying you dont get pumped up for hockey in January. Get lost. I am absolutely fired up for tonight. I’ll be excited if they win. I’ll be pissed off if they lose. This is what being a fan is all about. If you’re not gonna get emotionally invested in a little NY showdown when one team has finally emerged as a contender and the other team has won 13 of 14, then why are you even here?

Next up Rangers fans will then start to argue about winning Stanley Cups and comparing franchise history. Listen if you’re an Isles fan or a Rangers fan and under the age of like 100, you shouldnt be bringing up anything to do with Stanley Cup history. The Isles won their last cup about 30 years ago. The Rangers have won 1 Cup in 75 years and a couple others were won when there was 6 teams in the whole league. Its 2015 – the Rangers are reigning Eastern Conference Champs. The Isles are a first place team poised to contend for the foreseeable future. How about we all live in the here and the now? Fuck the 2015 New York Rangers! Tonight they get rolled by the Islanders bandwagon.
